Tender Process

The RM of Corman Park is bound by the procurement rules outlined within a number of applicable trade agreements that provide for the free movement of goods, services and workers across jurisdictions. This includes, but is not limited to, the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). The RM has developed a Purchase Authority and Authorization of Expenditures Policy that follows the procurement rules outlined in the applicable trade agreements. The procurement rules require the RM to provide open and non-discriminatory procurement, in way of a formal tender document that is advertised on the SaskTender website, where the anticipated costs are at or above the following thresholds:

• $75,000 or greater for goods
• $75,000 or greater for services
• $200,000 or greater for construction
