P4G District Planning Commission Joint Member Application Form


  1. The Saskatoon North Partnership for Growth (P4G) District Planning Commission (DPC) consists of representatives from Corman Park, Martensville, Osler, Saskatoon, and Warman (the “Affiliated Municipalities”), to provide recommendations to the Councils of the Affiliated Municipalities on land use and planning matters in the P4G Planning District. The P4G Planning District is a jointly managed area of Corman Park that surrounds each of the Affiliated Municipalities. 

    The P4G DPC membership consists of 13 members: two members appointed by each of the Councils of the Affiliated Municipalities, at least one of whom must be an elected Council member, and three members appointed jointly by the Councils of the Affiliated Municipalities.

    Available Position(s): 1 joint member position, commencing January 1, 2024.

    Term: Joint members are appointed for three-year terms, commencing January 1 and concluding December 31, and are eligible to be re-appointed a maximum of three, three-year terms.

    Duties: The general responsibilities of the P4G DPC include, but are not limited to:

    1. make recommendations to the Affiliated Municipal Councils on proposed subdivision, rezoning and other related development in the P4G Planning District; 
    2. make recommendations to the Affiliated Municipal Councils on the implementation or amendment of any regulations or policies in the District Official Community Plan or the District Zoning Bylaw;
    3. investigate and study land use, population, transportation, utilities, services, finances and other matters that impact the P4G Planning District;
    4. hold public meetings and publish information for the purpose of obtaining input from the residents of the P4G Planning District and beyond; and
    5. perform other such duties of a planning nature to facilitate planning and orderly development of the P4G Planning District.

    Meetings: Scheduled once per month, generally on the first Wednesday of each month at 11:45 a.m. with lunch provided beforehand.

    Compensation: $150.00 per meeting (2023 rates).

    • You must reside or own land within one of the five Affiliated Municipalities (Corman Park, Warman, Osler, Saskatoon, or Martensville).
    • You must acquire and attach (upload) two letters of reference for your application.
    • All sections of the form must be completed except for the 'how you heard of the opportunity' section which is optional. Please enter “N/A” in any fields that are not applicable. 

    Incomplete applications will not be processed.

    The successful candidate will be contacted once the Affiliated Municipalities have made their decision.

    The appointee will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure that members maintain the confidentiality of information received by them in their capacity as members of the P4G District Planning Commission.
