Bylaw 50/16 will allow for textual amendments to the R.M. of Corman Park Zoning Bylaw, to delete "internment" and replace with the proper term of "interment" where it appears throughout the Zoning Bylaw.
The word internment is related to prison, captivity, etc.; the definition within the Zoning Bylaw refers to interment, which relates to burial, cemeteries, etc. The definition within the R.M. Zoning Bylaw speaks to funeral homes, cemeteries, etc., as such the word in the Bylaw is incorrect.
Any person may inspect the proposed Bylaw at the R.M. of Corman Park No. 344 Office at 111 Pinehouse Drive, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, up to 5:00 p.m. until Monday, November 14, 2016.
Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the R.M. of Corman Park No. 344 Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed Bylaws. All written comments received by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 will be forwarded to Council.
