At the January 18, 2021 regular meeting, R.M. Council supported readings to Bylaw 03/21, amendments to the R.M. Building Bylaw 30/12. The amendments include an increase to fees charged by the R.M. to ensure administrative costs are being covered when issuing building permits. The amendments are:
- an increase of $0.50 to the Building Permit Fee Schedule from $5.00 per $1,000 construction value to $5.50 per $1,000 construction value; and
- an increase of $15.00 to the Building Removal or Demolition Permit from $10.00 to $25.00.
