Proposed Bylaw 48/18 will provide for textual amendments to the R.M. of Corman Park Zoning Bylaw. The purpose of the amendments is to:

• Amend Section 4 by adding development standards and regulations pertaining to Mineral Resource Extraction Industries. The intent is to amend the previous Mineral Resource Industry definitions to separate out Aggregate Resource Industries (i.e. gravel pit) from Mineral Resource Industries (i.e. potash mine) and provide associated standards. These regulations include; application requirements, development and site maintenance, setbacks, material storage, site screening and buffering, noise mitigation, reclamation, and road maintenance agreement requirements.
• Amend Section 6.134 by creating a new definition for “Mineral Resource” that aligns with the Mineral Resources Act, 1985.

PUBLIC INSPECTION

Any person may inspect the proposed Bylaws at the R.M. of Corman Park No. 344 Office at 111 Pinehouse Drive, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, up to 5:00 p.m. until Friday, November 16, 2018. PUBLIC HEARING

Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 19, 2018, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the R.M. of Corman Park No. 344 Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed Bylaws.  All written comments received by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday,November 13, 2018 will be forwarded to Council.
