The amendments are to the R.M. of Corman Park OCP and will include:
- Sections 4.2.5 and 4.2.6 will delete the words “property boundary of the Intensive Livestock Operation” and replace them with “ILO Active Area” in relation to the place minimum setbacks are measured from.
- Adding a new section that states existing single family dwellings within the separation distance from an existing ILO do not require a co-existence agreement in order to subdivide the existing residential yard site from the lands.
- Adding a new section to clarify for an expansion to an existing ILO, where the required separation distance from an existing use increases, due to a higher category of animal units, a co-existence agreement is only required from land owners within the expanded separation distance area. Any landowners that are within current separation distances are not required to enter into a co-existence agreement. To view a copy of the bylaw, click here
