Under Section 6 of The Municipalities Act, 2005 the R.M. of Corman Park intends to adopt Bylaw 14/18, known as the "Septic Monitoring Bylaw".
The Septic Monitoring Bylaw will provide Council the ability, subject to review of specific conditions, to require the monitoring of septic systems in new multi-parcel country residential, industrial park and commercial subdivisions by a Community Association. The intent of The Septic Monitoring Bylaw is to ensure that onsite wastewater systems are being adequately maintained and effectively operated, or to identify necessary remedial works to be undertaken. Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the R.M. of Corman Park No. 344 Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed Bylaws. All written comments received by 5:00 p.m, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 will be forwarded to Council.
