Bylaw 50/16 will allow for textual amendments to the R.M. of Corman Park Zoning Bylaw, to delete "internment" and replace with the proper term of "interment" where it appears throughout the Zoning Bylaw. The word internment is related to prison, captivity, etc.; the definition within the Zoning Bylaw refers to interment, which relates to burial, cemeteries, etc. The definition within the R.M. Zoning Bylaw speaks to funeral homes, cemeteries, etc., as such the word in the Bylaw is incorrect.
Complementary amendments (Bylaw 16/17) are proposed to the Corman Park-Saskatoon Planning District Zoning Bylaw. The affected lands are all lands contained within the R.M. of Corman Park, with the exception of lands contained within the Corman Park-Saskatoon Planning District.
