Corman Park Official Community Plan Open House

Residents, business owners, advocacy groups and other stakeholders are invited to attend a come-and-go Open House to discuss Corman Park’s proposed Official Community Plan (OCP).

The meetings are intended to follow up on the public engagement events held in August and September 2023, and provide an update on the draft OCP policies, the draft land use map and the comments and feedback received from the Planning Committee presentations in July and November 2023 and March 2024.

Discussion will include topics such as: the future land use map, residential development in Corman Park, and an updated vision and growth strategy for Corman Park.

The open houses will also provide an update on the South R.M. Area Development Plan project. This project will help inform and guide the development of the OCP policy framework moving forward.

Following this final round of public consultation, Corman Park Administration will seek endorsement from Council on the draft OCP and direction for the final stages of OCP approval. The anticipated timeline for First Reading of the OCP bylaw approval is July 2024.

The new Official Community Plan (OCP) will replace the current OCP with an updated vision and growth strategy for Corman Park for the next 10+ years.
