Nuisance Beaver ControlOur proud national symbol can cause significant distress and financial hardship to land-owners when the placement of dams cause overland flooding issues.
The R.M. covers the cost of blasting nuisance beaver dams. This is a program that is cost-shared 50/50 with the Province of Saskatchewan. The R.M. also covers the cost of removing nuisance beaver through the services of a certified trapper.
If you require assistance with the management of nuisance beaver on your land please contact Public Works at 306-975-1655. Download the Beaver Control Policy (PDF) for more information.
