The Planning and Development Act, 2007 (PDF) is the provincial legislation which enables Corman Park, under the guidance of the Planning Department, to utilize a variety of documents to administer land use, development, zoning and subdivision applications.
Official Community Plans, Zoning Bylaws, Concept Plans, Future Land Use Maps and other planning policies are some of the documents used in the planning and development processes by the R.M.
Within Corman Park there are two (2) independent planning jurisdictions employing separate Official Community Plans (OCP) and Zoning Bylaws, depending on where your property is located, one of the two policy sets will apply:
The area inside the Corman-Park Saskatoon Planning District is shown within the pink highlighted boundary on the map below; this area is controlled under the Planning District documents. If your lands are highlighted in pink use these the Planning District documents.
The remainder of the land in the R.M., outside of this Planning District area, is controlled under the R.M. of Corman Park documents. If your lands are not highlighted in pink use the R.M. documents.
